Is it normal that sometimes i sleep for 2-4 hours and sometimes 10-12 hours?

I'm worried about my sleeping cycle. Last last week, I had a sleepless night and had no naps that afternoon. I felt like I'm drunk. It happened again 2 days later and I can't stand my tiredness so I cut my last to subject that day and took a nap.

Then there were times last week that I'd sleep for 3 hours if not 2 hours.

And when I sleep at nights which have no classes the next day, I sleep for like 10-12 hours. Yesterday, I slept at 12:30 a.m and woke this afternoon 10 minutes before 2.

Usually, I think, during school days I sleep for 4-5 hours a day and 6-8 hours a day during no-class day. But it changed since last last week. Now, I can say that I sleep for 0-3 hours a day during school days and 10-12 hours as day during no-class day.

I just wondering (and worried) if this is normal? Is this going to affect my health in bad ways? How?

The actual normal human sleep pattern should be, be active for 2 hours sleep for 4 hours and revolve like that. Actually, in japan they have nap bars to make people more productive.

I've actually slept a whole 24 hours. The dream world beats reality any day ^_^. I was like this too during school. You spend so much time with school all that mental fatigue finally gets a chance to rest during the weekends. It's not really healthy but I suppose it's not unhealthy either.
