Is it normal that some natural hair black women repulse me?

Some black women stop getting chemical treatments or flat ironing every single day as a way to learn to accept the hair type or pattern they were born with. And yet these same people are judging other women just because their hair is nappier. You're both on this journey and you're discouraging them. This disgusts me. IIN? Also this is my first time adding a picture to my post so I have no idea if it went through...

I really don't care about a person's hair who isn't me 4
It should just be called hair then it won't be a big deal 2
Why do you care so much if you aren't black? (I'm nice) 2
Looser curl patterns are seen as better than the tighter patterns 0
Both may have feelings of insecurity 3
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I've found that many of the people that post on this site are incoherent, and you seem to be as well, so, yes, you are normal.

    • What's wrong with you? You didn't even try to answer my question.

I didn't realize that was a requirement. Here's my advice: If you don't get the results at one free website, take your business elsewhere, that'll learn 'em!

Or you could ask for a refund. Just a thought.

Or... and here's a long shot... write your post in a way that makes some kind of sense to someone besides yourself.

Your post is difficult to understand, but I get the gist of what you're saying.

If a black woman with natural hair insults another black woman with natural hair just because her hair has tighter curls and is therefore "nappier", then yes, that type of behavior should disgust you.

I am a black woman with natural hair. My hair has pretty tight curls, but I wouldn't dream of judging another black woman based on her hair regardless of whether it is natural, relaxed, or she sports a weave.

    I'm happy to be nappy!

    • I'm very overjoyed that you love yourself, and wish that more people would adopt this mentality without feeling the need to discourage others.
