Is it normal that some comments i make never show up on my comment section

Why does this happen if nothing bad was said or no rules were broken? Is it a is it normal glitch or do some comments have to pass moderation first? I don't get it.

I deleted them with my anti-comment ray.

I think that some comments must go through a moderation process first. When I make comments with links they won't show up for a few days.

But Sometimes I make comments and they have no vulgar words or links and they disappear. I think they get deleted by the creator of those posts, though.
