Is it normal that people tell me (black) that i sound like an asian girl?

All my life I've had people, bullies (grade school and high school, not a big deal now), strangers and adults telling me that my voice sounds like a baby, like a chipmunk (exaggeration), and like an Asian girl. I'm black and tired (not really tired, just bewildered) of people being rude and sometimes stereotypical towards me. I'm grateful for this, but it doesn't help my case that I also look like a 14 year old even though I'm 20 and have boobs. The voice thing I appreciate too because I can take voice acting roles (can even change voice for a short period of time). I'm talking about people's reaction to me even though it's common sense that different people have different voices. A lot of girls from Ethiopia sound like this, and I know that not all Asians have small voices (from listening to kpop and the amount of people I have met).
