Is it normal that people just stare at me

I'm a female in my early 20s and when I walk down the street people stare at me but nobody approaches me. They just stare, it feels great but I'm not the most confident person and when someone tells me I'm attractive I don't believe them. One time after talking for an hour a guy said to me he never thought I'm someone a person can have a conversation with which shocked me and asked him what he meant by that and he mumbled something I couldn't understand. is it normal for people to stare at me from a distance but never engage with me and when I engage with them first they seem stiff at first but loosen up later.

    It must be that bit of spinach between your two front teeth that makes them stare. And the fact that your skirt hem is tucked into your panties. Fix those things and it should be better.

    You must be really, really hot then I guess lol. Believe it or not a lot of guys are intimidated by 'drop dead gorgeous' girls. Personally, I probably wouldn't approach the most beautiful girl in a room mainly because I know there are probably a lot better looking dudes than me, which would make me think my chances aren't great.

      You do hear of that.
      Gorgeous girls - who you would assume are constantly hit on - saying that they rarely get approached due to everyone else also assuming that they're constantly being hit on & they won't stand a chance.

      Personally I'm not sure about that.
      There's a lot of cocky cunts out there...
