Is it normal that other guys stare at my butt when i'm out in public?

I know a lot of guys are "ass men", but I'm a dude! I was blessed/cursed with sort of "pretty boy" looks, and I gotta admit my butt is really.. um... perky?? There's nothing I can do to really hide it. I think it's much better than having no butt/pancake ass.. but.. getting "attention" for it is.. weird.

No one outright goes like "nice ass" but I catch people staring at it when I'm in lines ALL THE TIME! A lot of the time these guys are big tough looking guys with girlfriends with them. They often look quite panicked when I turn around and catch them. I sincerely doubt they think I'm a chick though.

I know I should be.. flattered.. but.. it just makes me feel nauseated having eyes on my ass! I know girls go through this on a daily basis, but that's considered "normal"... I guess if my waist was thicker or something my butt wouldn't look so "obvious", but I can't really change it. I do work out.. is that making it bigger? I don't feel very masculine when guys stare at my behind!

It's almost always more masculine/dominant looking men. Usually around 20-34. It happens mostly in line-ups like at airports or fast food places. I only realized how much my butt stuck out when I was in a changing room in a clothing store. There were mirrors that show your back. I was rather shocked, tbh... I didn't think it was unusually.. prominent. It's not hugely wide or anything.. just perky.. So, has this ever happened to any of you other guys? Do you think these guys are just staring out of curiosity? If so, why do they look so sheepish/ashamed when I catch them?

    So if you are staring at some girls ass that's just normal and fine, no reason for her to think it's creepy. But if some guy stares at your ass that is creepy? I am sure many a girl that you have taken a gander at in your life time have not appreciated the stares.

    Pretty much everyone takes the occasional look at something they like, and pretty much everyone gets a look from someone they would rather not at some point. It's just normal human nature.

      I don't stare at people... It's creepy because it's unwanted attention. I don't give it to other people, thanks.

      If a girl had written this post she'd probably get sympathy and understanding... :/ I wish you'd at least try to sympathize instead of trying to find something to criticize me about. I didn't post this with negative intentions, so I'd appreciate if you didn't comment negatively either.

        I would tell a girl the exact same thing I am telling you. People look at other people, it's no big deal and nothing to stress over, get over it. I didn't criticize your point of view, I disagreed with it and offered my own. It was my understanding that collecting other points of view was the purpose of posting on this site.

    Damn, man. Do you walk around with your eyes facing behind you all the time? Don't you bump into a lot of shit? And a sore neck; don't you always have a sore neck from watching everybody watching your ass all the time?

      Probably if I did have eyes at the back of my head I'd catch a lot more people staring than I already do. So, people are staring at me, and I'm the creepy one? Right... Why bother commenting if you have nothing helpful to say?

              How is it any more dumb than the rest of the stories on here? I've wanted to post this for quite a while, but I did assume it would get a negative reaction, cuz you're all really biased and sexist.

              I'm just using this site for what it's supposed to be for; asking about stuff you've noticed and are curious about whether or not it's normal/common. I really wish people would stick to commenting about if they've experienced it rather than commenting about the fact I posted it in the first place. Do you honestly think I posted this to offend someone or annoy someone? I guess even in the 21st century people are still really closed minded, and I don't think it's fair to jump on me because of something I experienced.

    Guys are supposed to look at ass. We're programmed that way. Don't be embarrassed or ashamed if you have a nice looking ass and other guys notice it. I feel flatterered when I catch other guys looking at me. I'm not "out" yet, so I don't do anything to encourage them, but it makes me feel good to think others, anybody, find me desireable or attractive!

    I don't know, I'm an "ass man", but only stare at girls butts (sorry ladies - not trying to be creepy). My gf says I have a great butt, but I haven't really noticed guys staring at it (fortunately!).
