I'm frequently out of town on business. My wife and I like to talk to each other on skype at night and then fall asleep without shutting down skype. It's nice to see each other first thing in the morning even when we're not together. Is this weird?
Ofcourse not. Its nice to see some men out there like making their lady's feel special.

Of course it isn't weird. Being far from a partner is never an easy thing. Chatting to each other until you both fall asleep is a good sign your marriage is going strong, imo.
Not at all. Try watching Jeopardy on TV if in the same time zone. You can tell each other the answers over the phone while the game unfolds.

My ex and I would be on the phone with each other all day, when we were still in a long-distance relationship. So before webcams, we always fell asleep together keeping our phones on. We would also rent movies and watch them together while on the phone. It's a healthy closeness when you're so enamored with each other and this happy to do all you can to be together/stay connected when apart.
Sweet or co-dependent? Technology allows us this little bit of closeness when our partners are far away. But it's healthy to be apart and be able to function without our partner. It's not weird to do this, but it also isn't healthy to be connected to the internet all the time.
