My dad had a kid when I was 10 it was just me and her and him of corse but now that I look back on it I felt and still feel more than a sister... Kinda like her mom......
yes it is normal because i have a younger brother by seven years and he always seemed more like a son then a little brother
It's a natural instinct sweetheart my brother was born when I was 8 and he's always seemed more like my son than my brother just because I helped raise him. We learn through our own siblings.
i've few friends who are much older than their sibs, the girls usually are very protective and look after the younger ones like mums... its very normal

If your mom died then you would definitly feel that way because moms are very important. Most likely you are the only girl who protects her so you feel like her mom. She probably thinks of you as her mom too
