Is it normal that my sister threatens to murder her kids?

She has 2 toddlers and 1 baby. Today both toddlers made a mess in her bedroom when they were suppose to go to sleep. She said that she wants to hang them off the balcony. A few weeks ago she yelled "I should throw both of you off the balcony". A while ago I babysitted for her kids. her kids throw my kittens litter all over the living while I was using the bathroom. And she threatened to murder my kitten. My sister says her whole life is taking care of her dead beat ex boyfriends kids. Without the kids or her ex boyfriend her life would be so much better. Growing up with her she never threatened to murder me but threatened to hit when she got mad at me.

    Doesn't sound like she's coping. She needs to get some support with her parenting (classes, etc) her anger (therapy) and time out for herself.

    Call the police. Nowadays, you can never be too sure when it comes to people, especially when they are Making these types of threats.

    If she continues this way her children will grow to feel resented. It's amazing to me that she refers to her own children as her 'deadbeat ex's kids' she needs help. And lots of it.

    Yes sometimes it can frustate the mind set of a person. But do not worry she will not harm to her kids. The scenario will ultimately change when they grow up. Till then assist your sister in caring her kids.
