So the first few people i came out to was my sister, and i have been out for 5-ish years now and i still haven't came out in my last post i made 'is it normal that i haven't told my parents that im gay" and i just wanted know if it was normal that my sister knows and my parents dont and she or i has not told them for 5 years?????

    I myself have only been orally w another guy, and my family knows nothing of it. Honestly hoping to keep it that way. I do find it strange that your Sis was who you told, but if you trust her then more power to you Chance!

    At least you are ashamed enough to be too embarrassed to tell your parents you are a homosexual yourself. That's very decent of you. That physically couldn't come out of my mouth if I were you. You may wanna try googling NARTH

    I had the same issue, however I didn't tell anyone. I am out of the closet now but the message I'm sending is there's nothing wrong with waiting to tell them. Hope this helped

    I imagine this is pretty common. Although the fact that five years have gone my since telling your sister without you telling your parents too might be a little unusual, unless you have some reason to think they'd react badly.

    Yea its normall... Im bisexual and i havet told my brothers or mother as my dad isnt here anymore... I only told my 3 great friends who dont judge me...
