Is it normal that my sister always

My older sister has honestly never stopped taking my things without permission she just takes things and thinks I won't find out I am a size small and she a large so obviously I will know what she took just by looking at it. I really have tried letting her borrow stuff I told her that I'd rather her ask nicely then just taking my things and lets say she does ask I will say yes but then she'll lose my stuff or say "oh I let my friend borrow it" I get so mad and really upset when she does things like that because it bugs me out. She will never understand what respect means. I always thought this happens to every sister relationship but I guess it doesn't it only happens to someone with a younger sibling but my sister is older and then it got me wondering is it normal that my sister always take my stuff she is older than me ???? Anyone any advice on what I should doooo??? HELP!!!
