Is it normal that my sense of smell keeps changing?

I bought expensive perfume about two months ago. I really loved the way it smelled and wore it a lot. I stopped wearing it for a few weeks because i started working out at the gym a lot. When I put it on the other night it smelled completely different to me and not in a good way. This has happened before with other perfumes. Is this normal?

    *away from light, heat and air

    So no to bathrooms

    Maybe it's how you're storing it. Your suppose to keep it from light, heat and air.
