Is it normal that my partner and i have the same dreams?

So my boyfriend and I have only been dating for a short time. (3 months) I have known him since high school, we haven't spoke in years. (I am now 26).. Then we reconnected and after some time started dating.

Him and I both have some weird dreams.
But lately we have been having the same dreams. Same exact thing's have been said, done, clothing color, place, you name it, also it feels real, as if it was actually happening.
is this normal?

      it's strange and I am just not sure how to feel about it.. One of the dreams he asked me to marry him, another he asked me to have his baby... though we both know its WAY to soon and what not.. im just concerned. I have no control over what he say's in the dream's, only how i respond. So i dont know... not sure if we are BOTH dream sharing at the same time, or if its just a weird coincidence

        Personally I think our brainwaves extend outside our skulls which can allow people to share brainwaves including dreams when close to each other. Its a good thing and not something to be afarid of. Its normal you arent ready for marriage and kids but I see no reason to be worried about it. Maybe just talk to him that you arent ready for that. People tend to reveal their deepest thoughts in dreams and everyone is thinking something you may not agree with.
