Is it normal that my parents still give me an allowance at 20?

At 20 years old, I still get an allowance - $20 per week with an additional $20 meal stipend for buying food at college. My dad's always said he's giving it to me so that I can focus on college without having to balance a job with it, and that 'college is my job' - I'm mostly content with it because while my parents pay for most things i don't go to parties, drink, want a lot of expensive things, etc.

My folks still helped me while I was in college. Alas, I drank and partied and eventually dropped out.

Well I get £45 a week but this is for bus fair and food when I'm at college (and anything that is left I can spend on what I want/save it) but when I wasn't at college and I had my own money I had to pay board. So I think it does depend on your situation.
Make sure you treat them in return. For example, cook them meals, wash up and spoil them as much as you can at gift giving occasions like they did for you when you were a child )0:)

It is normal that all people help each other when in need, especially (close) family.

It is normal that students study and employees work. It is not good to mix the two activities. If you do both at the same time you would be less than efficient at both.

Short answer: Normal, but it shouldn't be.

    Long answer:
It means you're an entitled Millennial turd. If you weren't you'd turn down the money. One day when you find yourself unable to function in society, thank your parents for enabling you to be not good at life.
