Is it normal that my mom thinks this way and that it bothers me?

She honestly believes that husbands get all say so. She has zero problem with taking the background. Which it's her life or whatever, but she expects me to be the same way. My stepfather isn't abusive or anything like that, so it's not harming her really. It just really bothers me that she never stands up to him about anything ever! She never tells him no, and she always puts him first even over her three kids. I don't know how she ended up this way, because my grandmother (her mother) is the exact opposite just like most women these days. She is very strong willed and knows that she has just as much say so as my grandfather. I just get so annoyed talking to my mom about these things, and it makes me feel bad for her. She let's herself be a doormat for my stepfather constantly, and I hate it.
