Is it normal that my manager constantly encourages me to look for another job?

My manager is a very nice lady, but she is constantly telling me about available job opportunities at other companies and asking me to update my LinkdIn profile etc.
I've told her over and over that I really like this company I'm working for now, and don't want to move.
Then she seems disappointed. It's like she doesn't like me and actually wants me to leave the company so that she can go back to being the only one responsible for our department...

Faced a similar situation a few years ago where my manager clearly thought I was undervalued and underused, that is to say capable of much more.

You say she is a nice lady. Could this be what she means possibly, do you think?

Yes, I have asked her before if she wants me to leave, but she said that she meant well.
What bother's me, is that she doesn't stop. She just keeps on pushing. And there's still so so much for me to learn at this company.
She really is great, so I guess you are right. I should just ignore it...
      thanks :)

One side of looking at this is that she see potential in you and see you could develop and grow in another position. It is very hard to determine her position from what you have mentioned and I see you are not sure yourself.

It means you are a great worker and could be doing so much more and wishes you well.

She probably knows something you don't.

She's trying to tell you nicely that the company doesn't want YOU! If you don't take her advice and start looking, and find, another job, she's going to fire you!

She can't fire me, only the owner can and I have been assured by both owners that they are happy with me...
