Is it normal that my father touched himself while watching tv?

I know the question sounds humouristic but I'm being really serious, please.
This is very hard for me to accept, but I'm pretty sure that I've been subjected to some sort of sexual disrespect as a child.
My father used to scratch his balls while he was watching tv, and I remember I hated seeing that, it was gross.
I remember the first time I ever saw a guy naked, some part of me got scared and I started crying. Why would that happen? Is Catholic body shame so engraved in my brain? Or have I had an even worse experience that I've blocked?

    Any hard working guy has got a right to sit in his living room, chug a beer and scratch his balls while watching TV after a hard day at work. We'd see that all the time back in the day. Grow up. You'd remember if he sexually abused. Instead he fed you, kept a roof over your head: he loved you. Now shame on YOU.

      Would you wonder why you felt like that if you were me?
      Like I say, it could just be the damage if Catholic Guilt, tellinmg me sex was dirty and shit.
