Is it normal that my dad leaves the door open when he poops?

My father tends to leave the door open while he poops. It can be awkward, because you'll walk into the house and there he'll be in the bathroom, completely naked save for a ballcap, and only then he'll freak out and close the door. He'll also leave the door open when there's company, and when it's just me or my mother nearby. He'll leave it open and ramble on about how crazy the world is today, how the world is coming to an end, how we are the 'last generation' spoken of in the book of Revelations, all while he takes a stinking diarrhea dump with the door wide open. He acts as though it's everyone else' fault for seeing him naked. Is this normal?

    He obviously wants it to waft throughout the house so, that everyone can feel connected and bask in the glory of his mighty smells that brought them together. I can tell that deep down your father is an emotional one. His soul is like the primordial soup that we all originated from. He longs to express himself, but refrains from doing so because of society. He doesn't want to look weak in the eyes of society. He is expressing himself in the only way he knows how to. Why take the away the joy his soul feels when he takes a shit? Why not add to the beautiful chaos that is the smell of shit and flatulence?

    Pooping with the door open brings families together. I'm surprised Dr. Phil never recommended that.
