Is it normal that my brother had anal sex with me (male) when I was about 10 and he was about 13? We both identify as heterosexuals and this is something neither of us ever talk about. It is something that is too embarrassing/strange to bring up. It bothers me deeply but is this just a part of growing up?

This all happened with him convincing me that receiving oral was a way to show victory when we would wrestle each other. This, after what I estimate to be at least a year, led to him inserting himself into me when my parents were not home. I let him do it but I did not understand what was happening.

        Your brother didn't fully understand what he was doing to you. He probably had something traumatic happen in his life and he acted out. Meaning he was attempting to cope with and understand whatever it was. You have a good relationship now because he never intended to hurt you with this. I'm quite sure that when he thinks about it, he carries a lot of guilt because he doesn't know how he could ever make you feel okay.

    You were 10 years old so I wouldn't beat yourself about it. You were just a kid.
    Your brother took advantage of your naivete and trust.

    I guess if it bothers you enough, talk to a therapist to help you resolve your issues.
