Is it normal that my brother and i had the exact same dream on the same night?

It wasn't just a dream either it was a premonition about the next day. We both woke up, shared our dream and told our parents. Unfortunatly they didnt believe us until we were driving to church the same day and i told my dad what car was going to come down the street at the exact time it happened in the dream. My brother and i finished conversations of strangers the same day too and it pretty much blew there minds lol. It happened a few days after that and i dreamt that my dad was going to have an argument with my brother because he forgot his inhaler at home.ive looked this up online and the cases of this happening are growing but what exactly is it? And its not dejavo or whatever because thats just the feeling of something thats going to happen.

    My sister gets this a lot and it's and you were right when you referred to it as a Premonition. It's not Déjà vu which literally means "already seen" in French.

    Déjà vu- having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced had been experienced in the past.

    Premonition- a type of Precognition.

    Precognition- is a type of extrasensory perception that would involve the acquisition or effect of future information that cannot be deduced from presently available and normally acquired sense-based information or laws of physics and/or nature.
