Is it normal that my boyfriend's really attractive, to me,even though he's not?

I've been with him for a year now, and I think I love him. I was just wondering if other people who love their partners find them REALLY attractive, and would list them in your top 5 most attractive people, even though they're actually not THAT attractive. It seems normal, but still, when I thought about it I found it quite strange, I've liked other guys I know before, but never would of said that they're like, a dream guy (looks wise.) Confused, IIN?

    story of my life. my friends will say things like "why are you dating him?" when a guy is not conventionally cute, but to me he's the hottest guy on the planet! & i've gotta admit sometimes i've seen girls with guys that aren't too attractive and i'll wonder "what is she doing with him?" but the girl seems genuinely in love and happy. & hey an upside to the person you love not being a "dream guy" is that other girls won't hit on him as often.

    I think there is a big difference between attraction and appearance; I know I've dated "hotter" guys than my current boyfriend because my best friend felt the need to tell me that, but I've never been so attracted to anyone like I am with him.. but I also think he is all around amazing and perfect and I’ve never had so much in common with anyone so maybe that clouds my visual judgment.

    I agree. I'm in love with my best friend and to me she beautiful and sexy, but I know that others would beg to differ. I also know a guy who is dating a girl who os semi cute but they are really close. I think that it's great when people don't base their love on looks!
