Is it normal that my boyfriend has 5 women that he calls when we argue?

Every time we argue my boyfriend calls one of his "old friends" who are all women (@5 of them) to make him feel that he is a great boyfriend and I am insecure or controlling.

The thing is I am not insecure or controlling. If anything I have forgiven him too many times!

He also spends the night at their houses and they are single.

By the way we are both over 40 years old.

What do you think? How should I handle this?

Why haven't you end the relationship yet? You're clearly being cheated on, humiliated, and disrespected.

You're not insecure, he's cheating. It's very obvious. Think about it. What is your gut telling you? And even if he wasn't, you two are over 40. Time to cut the games out and aim for actual communication. If he's not willing to cut it out, he isn't the one.

Woah it sounds pretty toxic. It's not normal at all, which sense you suspect. I'm so sorry it sucks. Talk to him about how it makes you feel and consider moving on as one of your options :(.. so sorry

ok the calling them is one thing, but staying over at there house is an issue I couldn't deal with.
I'd constantly be thinking he was cheating, even if he wasn't it'd still be on my mind and it's inappropriate anyways.

I think that you should tell him how you feel.

He sounds like a loser boyfriend who cheats on you. No woman deserves that. You deserve respect. Dump him.

The fact that you are on here and asking this question proves that you are fed up and frustrated. All that is left for you is to muster up the courage to tell your boyenemy that he is not needed anymore.
Focus on yourself for a while. I can't imagine how tiring it must be to keep wondering how you are going to be hurt next by a person that's supposed to love you
