Is he acting different because he finds them attractive? Has he actually come right out and said that? If so, he's behaving like kind of a jerk in the first place for bloviating to you about how attractive other women are. If not, you might be reading too much into his actions; he might be getting quiet, silly or angry because of the topic of conversation or because she reminds him of a cousin of his or something else entirely different.

It sounds like it's something pretty obvious, though, if the other women notice it enough to feel uncomfortable. I wish I had better advice, but that's just...odd. If it's constant, then maybe it is time to let him go -- not because he needs to chase someone he finds more attractive but so he can learn some social graces that don't include turning into a fractious toddler around pretty women.

That's just a strange situation. I don't know that my husband even notices how other women look, let alone acting different around them.

By the way, you have a great writing voice. If he doesn't think you're sufficiently awesome, I am entirely sure you'd have no trouble finding a boyfriend who would. :)

People get bored really easily. And then they search for something else. It's like when a kid gets bored of a toy, and gets a new toy, he will ignore the old toy and play with the new toy, even if the old toy looks better than the new one. But he will like the new one better, because it's NEW.

To other commenters: He is attracted to short, stockier women (with short bigger legs and hips) who have sharp angular features. These women do not necessarily have short hair. I am exactly the opposite.
