Is it normal that my boyfriend always worries about him being look like a pedo?

So, my boyfriend is 23 y/o but he looks a lot older than his age; he looks like he's in his very late twenties (he has a beard and that "rugged" look). While me, I'm 19 but I've been told that I look like I'm 17 or 16. He himself even told me that he thought I was 15 when he first saw me. Anyway, he always initiates holding my hand but then he would keep asking me if he looks like he kidnaps me or something like a pedo. I know that sounds ridiculous but that makes me kinda worried too and we notice that everywhere we go people tend to stare. is it normal for him to keep thinking that way? I'm not sure if the fact that he's white and I'm Asian has anything to do with it.. or maybe we just don't make a cute looking couple.

    I don't know.. maybe he should shave so he looks younger, or you might try wearing slightly older-looking makeup?

    If i took my beard off other than the height i would look like im 13 even if im 18

    Maybe if he already has a warrant on him for being a pedo and he is afraid that the cops will recognize him...

    Well I'm 18 and I'm in a relationship with my next door neighbour and she is 15 16this month but not too sure what people think of me!

      You do know if her parents complain or if she gets pregnant you could end up in jail with a record. It's happened to lots of guys (occasionally a girl). Your intentions don't tend to matter with the law.

    I won't worry about it, its not like they can arrest you. You only LOOK younger and he only LOOKS older. You guys are in the free and clear!

    I'm a girl who's 19 and I look like i'm 16 years old too, or so i've been told. I suppose it's something your going to have to get over. And if people look at you funny you can just do what I do :P I'm like "What? Is it cause I look young? Beleive it or not i'm 19! And he's only 23!" There usually like no wayyy really? And laugh it off, then when someone tries to gossip to them about it there like, no she's actually 19! My bf is actually 18 and people are baffled cause he looks older than me :P

    Normal to think that way, but wrong to dwell on it! Enjoy being a cute couple and make each other complete in every way! Your youthful looks will always be a blessing!
