Is it normal that my biological father i barely know got naked around me?

Okay so many years ago, when I was a teen (around 13-15) I visited my biological father who lives in Washington. I had only seen him an average of about once a year before then - I barely knew him and didn't consider him my "dad" - and it was my first time ever spending more than a couple of hours with him (I stayed over for two nights).

At his house he found several opportunities to be naked around me. Once I was in the bathroom, about to take a shower, when he walked in naked to let me know where the shampoo was. (He was naked because he had just finished a shower and had gone to his room to change; but when he came back out of his room to the bathroom he didn't have his towel on). I was really surprised. I don't think he was erect but I'm not sure.

While I was in the shower, he knocked on the door for some reason, but I don't remember why.

That night, I slept on a couch. I had trouble sleeping. Around 1 or 2 am he walked into the room completely nude, looked at me for a second (I was pretending to be asleep) and went back to bed.

So is this guy just comfortable with nudity, or was he totally pervy and inappropriate? I hadseen my (real) dad naked when I was a little kid, but that stuff was all over once I hit the teen years because I think my parents realized it was not appropriate at that age.

    I can really be sure exactly what your biological fathers reasons were to go out of his way to have you see him naked. But I'm a strong proponent that all dad's should allow their little boys to see them naked at appropriate times, I think it builds a stronger relationship.

    Whether he's a perv or just lacks sense of what's appropriate, I have no idea. But given how rarely you see him, no way is it normal to be that casual around you.

    That's rather odd. Some people are more comfortable with being nude, but he should still respect you. Tell him to put clothes on or just avoid him if you can.
