Is it normal that my 6 year old has had crushes on two of my boyfriends?

I knew my girls liked this guy i was dating, but i never knew how much. one day he told me that my 6 year old requested a kiss from him so he kissed her on the cheek. then she said "no. i want a kiss on the lips." he did no such thing however it sent me a flag. now i am dating someone else and she kept asking if he was coming over and i said no, but she kept insiting. when i asked her why she was so insistant she got quiet. because of what had happened before i asked her if she had a little crush and she laughed blushed and turned away. is this normal? should i be concerned? what should i do?

    what beautifully broken says is nonsense. I work in a reception class part time and Ive seen this sort of thing countless times. Its a totally normal part of a childs development. I wouldnt worry about it at all.

    I remember being about that age and having crushes on some of my teachers from school. I definitely wasn't as bold about it as your daughter, though.

    I would say it's perfectly normal, and you should be proud that your daughter is brave enough to chase what she wants!

    It's early for crushes for sure, but they aren't the same kind of crushes teenager have, they're more emotional obsessions, and they pass, little kids go through a lot of those usually.

    It's very blessed that ur boyfriend wasn't a sicko! And while her behavior is normal considering her age it's not normal I have a 6 & a 7 yr old & they have no such ideas! My advice is be very careful whom u allow around ur children bcuz weirdos are everywhere!

    it's a good thing your bf didn't kiss her. cause that would make him a pedo. and, i disagree w/ 50400..it doesn't necessarily mean she'll grow up to be a whore. they're just kid crushes, that's all.

    It's normal but it does indicate that she will be a promiscuous teenager/adult. I know only from experience. There has to be something not right that happened to her or it's not that serious, maybe she just looks up to you and wants to be like you. Whatever the case it does raise a red flag.
