Is it normal that most of the time i feel better about getting +1 thumbs?

I feel better when my comments here get +1 than +2 or more a lot of the time. When I see +2 it makes me think there are two people here who like who I am and like my comment because of that, which is nice. If I get +3 or more I assume I said something that a bunch of other people would have said, except the rare occasion that I say something absolutely brilliant. However, when I get +1 I feel like wow someone someone really gets me :D
