Is it normal that most of my posts end up long?

I've noticed whenever I make a post on here it almost always ends up longer than I intended. Ironically this is the shortest post I've ever made haha. Is it normal?

    It's normal. Some people just have a lot to say while others feel elaboration is more effective than conciseness. I like reading long posts sometimes. I am very prone to writing them myself. I blame my online penpals during my early teens because we exchanged ridiculously long emails
