Is it normal that me and this guy call each other bestfriends but never speak

there is this guy who i talk to all the time online (dont worry he is my age and goes to my school) and we talk like 24/7. we tell each other everything& anything! we call each other best friends and he is super nice to me. we stay up late and talk till midnight some nights. but at school/uni we dont talk. i dont know why, i just get so embarrassed when i see him and want to run away. i always avoid him and walk the other way when i see him coming. i never want to speak to him at school but then as soon as i go home i just want to go on fb and speak to him. i dont like him in that way but what the hell is wrong with me!?!?!

    I think that the only person who knows the answer to that is you. Why do you get embarrassed and runaway when you see him? Maybe its because he knows so much about you. You tell him "everything & anything". That includes very personal things too?

    You feel like he's stripped you naked. You know that he knows you way too well, especially for an internet friendship, so you see him in public and don't know how to react when you see him.

    Don't take this the wrong way but from the sounds of it you're part of the "newer" generation and feel more comfortable txting rather than speaking. Try to break out of this shell. It would be the best for you. I'm going to guess you're a shy person when talking face to face with strangers. It will help you out immensely when u get older. Especially if you get a job in customer service ( Which is the majority of jobs) it is normal though but not healthy

    I went through the same thing when i was in grade 7. Turns out I fell 'in love' with him but he definitely wasnt worth talking to. Save yourself some trouble and find a new bestfriend -.-"
