Is it normal that mc donald's ice tea makes me have to make a bowel movement?

When ever I go to Mc Donalds, I get their tea, but shortly after, I grow a stomachache and have to go to the bathroom, even if I ate nothing that day. It happens every single time. I am very confused by this... Is it normal?

I'm sure you'll find plenty of items on the McDonalds menu that will give you a bowel movement.

Have you ever noticed they can't fill your cup until a toilet flushes?

Its probably one of the ingredients in it. If it makes you sick, then don't drink it.

Caffeine can act as a laxative. Maybe that's the problem.

Steaz black tea with lemon gets me going. I get the same effect with other drinks that have a fairly large amount of caffeine like a nice cup of coffee.

It's probably the caffeine and the type of sweetener they're using.

They don't rinse all the soap out when cleaning?

  • Dunkin Donuts ice tea is DISGUSTING. It tastes like it has coffee grounds mixed in. I've never had McDonald's tea but their coffee's good. Fast food restaurants fail at making ice teas IMO. I had Wendy's berry ice tea and it was nasty as well.

I had it too. It was not that nasty just bland.

Yeah, that's the best way to describe DD tea, I had it and thought that maybe they loaded it full of chalk.

Don't eat things from McDonald's. Whatever it is, it's bad for you.

Even the bottled water has big hunks of pork in it sometimes.

That would mean they serve real meat.

      • I honestly wouldnt put it past McDonalds to have put forward this idea at least internally at some point in the past.

Oh hey instead of ice in the sodas why dont we flash freeze lard cubes?

I agree. The OP would be better off buying and making his food at home.

Its so hard to find the bottled babyleaf white tea with rasberry by lipton though. You can only find it in the stores like every month or so and its so hard to get but I love those. They need to produce more tea for all countrys since tea iced or not is amazing!
