I'm a girl and I haven't trimmed down there in a while, and when I finally did today, it seemed to make my masturbation more challenging. Usually when I trime my area, I don't masturbate for the next few days.     I can't speak from experience, not having the same equipment, but it wouldn't surprise me if hair changed the texture, friction, etc enough removing it would make it harder, or at least require a different technique.

    Sounds like you need more practice. Try waxing, it should keep you smooth for 4-6 weeks and then you can work out these issues. You could also try changing things up, use a vibrator if you usually don't, try a butt plug, invite a friend over to give you a good licking, whatever. I don't know what you usual routine consists of, but sometimes a change is all it takes.
