Is it normal that lobster tails taste bad?

There used to be a law about how often you could feed it to prisoners -- they are garbage food or used to be considered it and it was a crime to feed it to inmates more than like twice a week. No butter however, I am sure that was criminal.

Either you haven't had any good ones or they're just not your kind of food.
