Is it normal that kids still eat sugary cereals for breakfast?

They are obviously sweets and/or desserts... how can you start your kid's day on sugar?

    Because people are stupid?

This laissez-faire attitude is destroying lives and costing tax payers millions.

You, the OP, are right to be concerned. Children should not be given such things. Really, nobody should eat sweets. They may taste nice but it is appealing to a primal desire for sure, much like how McDonalds or other fast food chains appeal to primal desires for fat and salt. These people are your enemy and the addiction to salt, fat and sugar is far more insidious than drug addiction because they are exploiting human nature.

Making bad health choices is up to a stupid person, but giving a child sugary cereals, and in fact any sweets, is not only reinforcing this dependency but is child abuse in this day and age when we know the harm of refined sugars. I ate sweets a lot as a child and as such I have a lot of fillings. There is only so much brushing can achieve.

Don't give your kids sweets. Learn about he damage of refined sugars so you aren't mistreating them deliberately.

Costing tax payers millions? You sir, are either a bleeding hearted liberal or someone that misunderstands social Darwinism. The advantage of destroying lives with sugar is that, the more intelligent people uninfluenced by inane television advertising obtain a selective advantage over dumb people. Why should smart people pay high medical costs to keep stupid asses alive?

      Live and let die.

        "bleeding heart liberal"

A slur that has no real solid meaning, but is just a cliché used by conservatives.

There is no such thing as "social Darwinism".

Intelligence is defined by environment as much as it is genetics. A person with great potential will know no better if they're raised in a poor environment.

Your last statement simply isn't true at all. There are plenty of examples of success stories from the lowest reaches of poverty that have overcome great odds to be very successful individuals.

While it may be difficult to achieve, it is achieved and there are examples of it.

Laying the blame for someone not realizing their own "great potential" on "society" more than the actual individual is liberal nonsense.

Those that have money, by whatever means they have accumulated it, have no social obligation to those without wealth.

You must give away a lot of your own accumulated wealth or else you'd look very stupid with the viewpoints you espouse.

I didn't blame it on "society", so your strawmanning is typical conservtive nonsense.

I never said those with wealth have a social obligation to give it away.

Since I have no accumulated wealth - I am retraining - I have nothing to prove.

"Intelligence is defined by environment as much as genetics" Sounds like a ready made excuse for poor people to keep themselves poor, as long as they're surviving.

Sounds like you have no clue about social darwinism, which does exist, sorry to break it to you.

No surprise you have no accumulated wealth and this is your viewpoint. Once you get some (if) your viewpoint will change. Hiding inside every liberal is a conservative.

This is called complimentary investing. We the 1% make money poisoning you the 99% with sugar so that we can make even more money billing you for medical care for diabetes.

Most of you are too dumb to care. You could always have whole wheat toast and coffee for breakfast like I do.

Honestly some of the cereals you see out there has more sugar than your typical dessert.

I was bewildered when I opened a box of cereal and saw pieces of marshmallow in it.

Don't forget bruh that they also might have pancakes, waffles, french toast or something else to eat such as eggo waffles. Don't forget there aren't just sugary cereals out there since there are better choices such as oat meal, fruit or special k. Heh but anyways I like to have Reese's Puffs with a cup of tea in the morning.

I don't know how long it takes before the crash becos I've never been a cereal eater but I'm sure it happens as well as contributing to obesity and diabetes.
