So my boyfriend of a year, lets call him chris. He has a friend, well call him sam. I am seriously, intensely, annoyingly attracted to sam. He stares at me, asks my bf about me...whatever. But whenever hes over I feel like im doing something wrong, even though nine times out of ten my bf is in the room. Its been driving me crazy bc sometimes I seriouslyconsider texting him, or hitting him up on facebook, but my bf really is amazing and the last thing I wantto do is hurt him.
Weve been living together six months, together a year. Both in our mid twenties, and have talked about marriage. Im happy so WHY DO I WANT HIS FRIEND?

    Similar to what @Sidh said, they are friends and may be similar and that is why you like him also. People tend to be attracted to the same type all the time and it is natural. You should not act on this attraction because there is nothing more that he will offer than your boyfriend is not capable of doing. Just stay with your boyfriend and stop thinking of his friend.

    From what I just read, I think you are very sexually attracted to Sam. You do love Chris, and you want to be with him, but something in you wants Sam. I don't know what you should do with it...take a break from Chris and think things through? See if it's really Sam you love, or see if it's more than just something sexual...it's really up to you.

    Maybe its your subconscious mind telling you your not ready for this much comittment. Maybe its your subconscious mind telling you you want something more than what Chris gives you. Maybe its both.
