Is it normal that im glad she has ugly kids?

Ill try to make this short. I went to school with this really mean girl who was nasty to people including me. Her family had
money and she made fun of poor kids, slow kids and kids who dressed awkwardly. She once told me " nobody would ever want you" and once threatened to slap me just for joining in a conversation. She stole her " best friends" boyfriend who was an ugly, derpy looking football player.
Were in our 30s now and i saw her and she has two ugly, derpy kids from the ugly derpy guy. I cant help feeling smug because her kids look goofy and have big melon heads. They are the kind of kids she would have made fun of...I kind of hope she feels ashamed. My kid is beautiful and I cant help but gloat. Im not asking if this is silly and immature cause I know it is, but is it NORMAL?

A little schadenfreude is normal but hanging on to ill feeling for so long is not healthy. Let it go & enjoy bringing up your beautiful kid as she/he will not be a child for long.

Totally normal, in fact you should call her out and let her know her kids look like stewie on family guy.

    • Im not that mean haha. But the friend whose boyfriend she stole has really cute kids now too. Her kids just look like the ones who sit in the classroom eating glue or picking their nose.

It's normal. I'm pretty sure anyone would feel that way if they had to see someone like that almost every day for almost a year.

However, it would be a different story IF you hope something bad happens to her children when/while they grow up. (e.g, being bullied because they're ugly)

They might not grow up to be toxic like their mother, and they weren't able to decide whose nutsack they wanted to swim around in, so leave them be.

But judging from your post, I don't think that that's the case, so it's perfectly fine. Don't sweat it.

    • Thanks i think you got my drift. I dont wish ill on the kids and if anything i hope the mom was humbled or learned not to treat others so bitchy based on shallow stuff like looks

Yes, I get what you mean. In that case it’s perfectly fine. I hope that mom learned her lesson.

  • It's normal, but you shouldn't be happy that the kids are ugly. They may not be bullies like their mom.

I am probably what you'd consider a derpy kid and I'm still going through bullying. There are times I wish they would die so I guess your feelings are normal.

I feel you are worse than her tho. You know how horrible it is and even tho you aren't actively bullying (I hope), you are holding on to terrible thoughts for decades.

She was a dumb kid who bullied. You are a grown adult who knows better.

Get over it and I hope you have never said this to her because that would be really, really mean.

    • I never bullied anyone and she did. Im worse than her??? We were all " dumb kids" but not everyone acted like a jerk.
Btw no Id never say it that would be doing a bad action.

I'm glad you didn't say it.

I just meant I think it's worse to think this as an adult who knows what it's like to be an awkard kid.

Her kids looks don't matter and I am sure they are good people. They aren't a curse or retribution for her stupidity when she was growing up.

        That's all.

How is it karma? Having beautiful healthy kids, no matter what they look like, is a blessing.

Sorry. I sympathise with the bully victim not the bully. They didnt say they wish them ill just find amusing. But its nice you can think that.
