...don't want it to be one of those crummy 1 month high school relationship just for the sake of being in a relationship. I got this 3 year crush that I have been planning to try going out with but I'm not sure if I was ready for it myself. I was thinking about asking her out next week and she seems to like me too. I kinda want this to actually last unless we just can't stand each other.
p.s We are in the orchestra directly opposite from each other near the front, am I liking my chances?

    it's normal to have that urge, but kind of impractical cause you can never know with certainty how long a relationship will last until you begin it.

    do ask her out next week. good luck

      I just notice most people at my school just get into relationships willy billy and then just break up like nothing happened

        I think that's mostly an age thing, at that age, most don't know what they want

        do you know if that girl's been single for the 3 years you've known her? maybe not. but based what I've seen of my female friends and acquaintances, if she had been single chances are high she's not looking for casual relationships either
