Is it normal that i write poems only about death , arrogance , hate ... etc?

As a child I was always picked on and bullied then I would come back home always depressed and I would go to my room alone lock my door and just write about the people I hated , But now I do not get picked on anymore nor I get bullied anymore and I still tend to write about the same things as i used to when I was younger , But now it has become a passion When ever I get the chance i would write a poem still sticking to the same things , I am also a very positive person I tend to be supportive to my friends and family And now I don't know why it has just become a habit , its just something about what I write that i like

IIN?

    It's normal.

Most of my poems are about sadness, suicide and dying. They're some of the deepest things I've ever written. Have you ever posted your poetry? I would love to hear it:)

Poetry, for you, started out as a way to relieve angst and anger. However, now it sounds like you enjoy poetry and no longer use it as a way to release your frustrations. It just so happens that malice is what you're familiar with when it comes to writing, at least in my opinion. You're normal.

Actually writing about negative things is the natural way! Apparently it's much much easier to write about things like sadness, death, lost, trapped, worry and negative things like that.

I would say normal. Writing poems is just another way of expressing yourself.
I'm overall a happy person but in dark and sad times I grab a pen and write poems.
    So yes, normal.

Absolutely! The definition of Poetry itself is:
Literary work in which special intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas. A quality of beauty and intensity of emotion. I don't think anyone could write poetry without some type of emotion behind it, not any good kind for that matter...I'm sorry to hear that you got picked on when you were younger but I'm happy to hear that your expressing yourself through poetry rather than going on a crazy killing rampage at a school. Now, that would not be so normal...

I too, do the same. I've actually been confronted about many of my family members and friends asking if I'm depressed simply by I what I write. But in actual fact, pain, agony, depression, hate and other related feelings are much easier to write about. It's quite hard to write about happiness. It's easy to write about love, but love can we be dark as well. Some of the most famous poetry is dark and terrible. It's just easier to write. It's deep and emotional. You're totally normal.

That's one of the things I'm afraid of. The more I write the deeper my poems get. So, I stop sharing them with my family. I don't want to be judged or confronted.
