Is it normal that i wish to apologize?

I really would like to apologize to those Australians on here who are not part of "the gang" that are always attacking me on IIN. I have let them get under my skin, especially when they attack my wife, who has done them no harm or posted anything which would give them cause to spew their ugly bile towards her.
I do not hate Australia, nor Australians in general; I just lost control and struck out. I had a wonderful time when I was there, especially the 4 months we spent in Arnhem Land, and the people treated us well.
This "gang" of Australians on here, who seem to travel in a pack, thumbing down those they dislike en masse and thumbing themselves up, almost like they discuss their strategy offline, then come on here to wreak havoc. They seem to get off attacking the individuals, not discussing their opinions, which doesn't seem to be in keeping with the principles of IIN.
In the future I will endeavor to step over or around their ugly posts, as one would a steaming pile of shit, which is about all they contribute to INN anyway.
