Is it normal that i wish i could live in the jurassic period?

I know it's not possible, but I'd like to go live in the Jurassic Period (just for a while. Like maybe 2-3 weeks or a month). I'd like to see actual live dinosaurs and do some studying on them and study the ancient world around me (maybe bring some samples back with me to keep). IIN?

It's normal to want to see any part of history first-hand - and seeing the dinosaurs as well as the other animals of that time (ancestors of humans especially) would be fascinating. You'd also get to judge how accurately they're portrayed in the movies :D

But, unless you were floating in a protective bubble, I think you'd struggle to survive in the Jurassic Period.

And breathe unpolluted air, drink clean water and eat fruit and veges that actually taste like what they are. Oh yes, wouldn't it be wonderful?

Go and live in what's left of the Amazon if that's your idea of heaven :P

Do you honestly think the pollution hasn't gotten there? I've seen it a thousand miles from land in every direction. There are some places it's less, but nowhere it isn't.

There are places in the Amazon where the influence of humans is imperceptible - where loggers have yet to fell.

That thick, humid air is probably some of the least polluted by humanity you'll find within inhabitable terrain on Earth. And the fruit and veg will be untarnished by man, the water will be filtered through dense rainforest...

Of course, for most of us, trying to survive in what is truly the wilderness would be hell. Diseases, predators, parasites, poison...

But if you reckon it's a wonderful alternative to the world we've carved for ourselves, you n your wife could make a hut around here:
          https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Amazon+Rainforest,+Manaus,+Brazil&hl=en-GB&ll=-6.004679,-68.348694&spn=0.104139,0.153637&sll=51.883706,-2.074533&sspn=0.064635,0.153637&oq=amazon+ra&hq=Amazon+Rainforest,+Manaus,+Brazil&radius=15000&t=h&z=13

Probably the nearest thing to the Jurassic Period landscape we've got :P

Actually been there, the Amazon. Not really a jungle person as I found out in 65/66, SE Asia.
I've found my little piece of paradise; I'm content. Hopefully we'll have citizenship next year.

Phew, thank god you meant dinosaurs. Thought it had something to do with Rosie O'Donnell. I'm still full of ewwww about it now.

And quite possibly get hunted down and eaten by a hungry T-rex. No thanks.

I guess I'm the only one who thinks as soon as I step foot in the Jurassic period, I'm gonna get eaten by something.

It would be awesome to see a dinosaur in the flesh but if I had a choice I would like to travel back and see some of the ancient wonders of the world.

Stay away from anything with the word "Period" in for at least 3 to 5 days
