    At 18 you are finishing up a normal time where you are getting comfortable with yourself and discovering who you will be as an adult. It's called "identity crisis" stage. Don't think of crisis in a negative way, it's just a term. So, if you are comfortable, and it seems like you are, you're totally normal.
