I've heard quite a few stupid rumours about myself, how about you?
is it normal that I want to know what is the dumbest rumour you've ever heard about yourself?
When I was in elementary school, my mom was a playground supervisor and I chose to spend all my recess time with her instead of socializing with other kids for different reasons (bullying, anxiety attacks, having friends who annoyed me, not getting any one-on-one time with mom at home).
Anyway, the rumor was that my mom and I were incestuous lesbians with each other. We were not amused, to say the least.
Dumbest Rumour:
I had been single for about three years and, in that time, I had not had sex with anyone (I prefer to have sex with a person I'm in love with). I found out a co-worker of mine, who claimed to know me well, had been telling several other employees that I would go to the bar/club every weekend and take home a different man to have sex with each night.
Of course, I confronted her about it. She refused to talk with me about it, though.
It sure felt good when that lazy bitch was fired a few months later for socializing too much during work hours.
I remember a few years back in school there were a group of girls who went around saying my breasts were fake.
I can only remember one rumour about me that I have come to know of. The rumour was that I heard voices in my head. Well, I don't really know how much of a rumour it was, but I asked about it in the 9th grade.
That I got expelled from school after being found passed out on drugs with a boy in the bathroom.
When actually I was expelled for being found passed out on drugs by myself in the hallway.
That I smoked banana peels, with a pillowcase over my head, using a handheld propane torch.
Hm, I'm not sure if assumptions count as rumors or they are even that different from each other but I was considered by many to be a pretty mean guy based off of my default face being a mean looking one apparently. To those I say, do you or anyone else walk around with a smile on their face constantly? Didn't think so. More of a middle school thing but I still get that sometimes.
Another high school assumption, rumor, something, was that I was smart, top of the class smart. I guess keeping to myself and almost never speaking means I ace every test automatically. Whenever someone would manage to be nosy and find their way into my folder and find a D or F, they would say "I thought you were smart?" Mkay, so you're indirectly saying I'm not then, may I see your folder without your permission too?
People at my school thought I was adopted. And, People think im a cop.?! Do I look like a friggin cop?!?!
That my friend and I were lesbian lovers, that I was pregnant, that I was sleeping around, that I was marrying my friend who is moving to Brazil in September.
-We are not lesbian lovers, we're just really close, although to people who don't understand our relationship, it can seem like that

I raped someone, I had an STD, I talked crap behind someone’s back, I cheated on the person I was with, I got some one pregnant, I was married, I stole a camera.
These are all the rumours and its weird since I generally was very well behaved. My friend said I was married and got someone pregnant as a joke and people started believing it. The Std I had a lot of relationships so people assumed I must have has an STD from all the people I dated.
I had this weird group of friends that liked to create drama and talk crap behind each others back and would tell me I did. I went on a class field trip and I guess a camera was stolen and no one liked me at that time so blamed me I was not left alone for weeks. I was once sent to the office in school since apparently I got in a fight with a child I never met.
My other idiot friend went around saying I had sex with this female I use to know and somehow it turned into all kinds of rumours. When I was in a relationship with a certain person I had a friend who wanted to dictate our relationship so anytime I hugged someone of the opposite sex beside my girlfriend they said I wanted to cheat and I guess they thought I went through with it at one piont. Which was irritating.
Someone spread a rumor at my old school that my friend used snuff. She was 14 or 15.
I wasn't really well known in school but one rumor and possibly the only one ever spread about me was that I was dating my best friend in middle school. I wasn't by the way and we still are good friends.
