Is it normal that i want to be a mother of four like my mom and grandma?

My mom is the first out of 4 (all biological), I'm the 3rd out of 4 (all biological), and I would like to have four kids myself (1 biological and 3 adopted). I know that I may not be able to afford it considering I'm single and my future job may not pay enough for it but I still would like to do whatever I can to make it happen. I'll just see what I can do about that goal of mine. That's all anyone can do, really.

    Why? Who's to say you won't have less, more or even no children. What will you do if you never meet your soul mate or discover that you can't have children? In my humble opinion having such precise expectations could very well lead to disappointment.
