Is it normal that i want the girl i love to break up with her boyfriend?

Well, i met this girl in my old school, like 1,5 years ago and I got a crush on her almost at the same time i met her. We started hanging out and i got really close to her. At first, I couldn't notice i was in love with her, because I was really enjoying the fact that i could be with her everyday, but suddenly one of our friends(one of my best friends) started dating her. It was like BAAANG. I got really upset after that, but i had to pretend I was happy for her (and I admit that i have done that well, since nobody noticed how bad i felt). It all happened in 2011. A few months after, i changed for another school, and GOD how I missed her. I missed her smiles, her hair, her voice, but there's nothing I can do, since she is still in a relationship my friend and they are really happy together.

So the question is: Is it normal that I want her to break up with her boyfriend, even when they are happy together and love each other, so that I can make a mature approach and tell her my real feelings?

please help me out guys, tell me your stories, and sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language.

You really need to move on. I know that's not always easy, but this doesn't seem healthy. Besides, what makes you think she'd be interested in dating you if she did?

I even feel that way with celebrities. Even though I have no realistic chance to be with a female actress or model, I still feel obligated for her to be single before I seriously start fantasizing about her, otherwise it just feels wrong.

Yes it is normal to want the person you love to be with you and no one else. I would tell this girl how you feel about her. If she feels the same great. If she doesn't move on.

its normal because of our primitive geneology of finding that one person and being competitive about it but i do understand that feeling. and if you have that too long, it will bother you too much. chill. there are plenty of fish in da see so keep looking.
