Is it normal that i want a younger women so than i could be a dad if it worked?

i divorced with no kids in my 40's we never got settled enough. i would still like to be a father if my life gave me that opportunity, is this unreasonable? should i purposely stop thinking this would be o.k. just let it develope in whatever way or make this happen

  • You are only in your 40s it's not like you have to go that much "younger" to find a fertile partner.

"Only" - well I agree but the baby part is easier than the 20 plus year dependency commitment when you are already in your 40s and aging. That's why the clock is ticking.

Being a senior when dealing with a teenager and ever retiring when your kid's just going to college ($$$) are pretty serious realities. Everyone gets old and he needs to think how much longer he has for all the parenting from A to Z.

That's not unreasonable at all but you may need to be flexible if the right prospect doesn't come along within a certain time (the clock is ticking and children require lots of energy and resources); or the right prospect appears with children of her own. Otherwise - get out and circulate.

If you're talking about a chick In like her 20's, then go for It, but don't expect her to be hot unless you're a rich fucker.

You should look at your family history . Do the men in your family have health issues that tend to make them die early or do you come from people that live longer than average . How's your personal health? Do you live a active, health lifestyle that would make you more able to keep up with the things it takes to do to raise a family well ? Anyone can get hit by a bus or die from a unforeseen health issue at any age but ppl should think twice before having kids if the odds are they won't be around to see them graduate from collage. I gave birth to my son when I was 41 and I expect to see his children born some day and maybe even my great grand children since ppl in both my parents families usually live to their 80's and 90's with very little health issues .
