Is it normal that i walked out?

Last weekend my friends asked if I wanted to have a friends night in watching movies because they know recently I haven't been going out. They ended up wanting to go to dinner before going back to my friend's house, which was fine and I agreed to it. But then they started asking to "go clubbing or go to the casino or go to Matt's house" and I didn't want to go because I was really not wanting to do anything that involves drinking and certain other things. Anyway, I clearly said no. So we went back to my friend's house. They asked a few more times. I told them to quit harassing me and that I just wanted to have a relaxing fun night with them like we originally planned. Fifteen minutes later they asked again. So, I got up and walked out. They followed me to my car and I told them they were free to do whatever they wanted but I couldn't deal with them annoying me any longer. I had to leave otherwise I would have ended up cussing them out and calling them bitches and hoes among other things that I would regret later. What do you do in a situation like that? People usually aren't that persistent and I don't get fucked with like that but wow I almost reached my boiling point... I don't like getting pissed off like that. Any thoughts?

you did the smart thing just leaving rather then losing your temper

do your friends understand why you got so upset and left?

Even though I explained it to them, no, they probably still don't get it lol. They think something is wrong with me because I don't like going out anymore. But I'm just in a different place in my life. I did the whole party thing when I was 21 and 22. It gets old though. That's over and I'm more interested in my career and just bettering myself overall.

Yeah, I have spoken to them, but it's just been "hi" and "bye" mostly.

I'm not the type of person that needs an apology, I just need to not be harassed. Otherwise, I get pissed off and say things that they don't want to hear. And since these two friends in particular are overly sensitive, their "feelings" get hurt easily and it becomes a mess. That's why I just gotta keep it short and literally get out in these situations.

Btw, dickwashington is a cool name.

Be proud of yourself for being you. Peer pressure can be hard for most people.
