Is it normal that I haven't been dating in my college life? I did have a girlfriend for the first two years of college but I had met her during highschool. I'm doing my 5th year at college now and I haven't dated since. But as far as I have heard, none of my friends have either. I'm not speaking for myself here, but in the case of my friends they aren't total losers, not at all. Nerds yes, but losers no. They do maintain a decent social life and aren't ugly. But none of us have been dating really.
I know people are going to give the "its college, go out and have fun" suggestion but that's easier said than done for me.
So is this normal? Did you people date a lot in college? Why is my ex being such a whore? Banana moose?

    why does "not dating" have to be weird anyway?

    I mean if you're serious about getting your education you're busy already with studies. Sometimes being single is exactly where you need to be in life.

    besides, there's also no guarantee that there's someone around you that you even want to date anyway.

    It's called having ambition and focus. Keep up the good work. You'll have plenty of time to date and socialize when you have a rewarding career!

    Same here in my final year at uni and haven't dated anyone, I wouldn't even have the time to anyway studies consume me and I don't mind one bit.
