Is it normal that i've never had a boyfriend?

I'm a guy around your age. It's hard for me to really say why this is happening with you without really knowing you, but there are a lot of things to consider.

First of all, it's totally normal to be 19 and not have had a real relationship before. I know that all the movies and everyone on the internet says that they have had like 8 relationships by the time they're 16... but trust me, you're not alone at all.

I mean I think that honestly, to have a really good relationship with the right type of person at this age... it doesn't happen left and right.

As to why they always want sex from you instead of more than that... it could be a few things. Chances are that you are hanging around the wrong kind of guys. A guy who is willing to ask sex from you without there being a relationship is not the type of guy you're looking for. And those guys come in all shapes and sizes btw. It's not always just the hot guys who are assholes.

It could also have something to do with the way that you're presenting yourself. How do you meet the guys that are interested in you? Do you show interest really fast? Do you talk to a lot of guys at once? Do you wind up doing a lot for these guys while they don't really do much for you?

You sound like a really nice girl. I think the best way to get what you want is to focus on something else for a while, and maybe be a little more selective about the guys you hang around. Be open to the people in your life and guys that you meet. And a really big thing which it already sounds like you have... but just to be sure... make sure you show self respect. A guy won't respect you and want a relationship with you if you don't respect yourself.

I know it doesn't feel good to see others in relationships and wish you had the same thing, but trust me, it's pretty normal. I personally think it's better to take your time and let the right type of person come into your life.

Okay, so, i think this is normal, and you'll find the right person eventually. I'm a 19 yo guy and i've NEVER had a relationship. Neither a serious one, nor a "just4sex" thing. Just talk a lot to people that you find interesting, don't be shy and be yourself. Boys can be really annoying sometimes, trust me, i know, but if they only talk to you just to hit on you, then they'll go away pretty easily. I mean, if you really wanna be sure that people don'stay around you to have sex with you, lie and tell them you're into girls straight away. It'll makes things way faster xD.
Since you like sci-fi, if you read Farenheit 451 and liked it, you'll probably know there's no need to rush things. A slow but solid relationship is way better and it lasts longer.
