Is it normal that i've lived here for two years and haven't seen my neighbor?

I've lived in this apartment for almost two years and I've never seen my nextdoor neighbor before. The neighbor that lives on the other side I've seen one time and said hello to her and haven't seen her since. So I don't really know anyone I guess.

Whenever I check my mail I always look at all the packages to make sure that I don't have something unexpected sitting there for me. Today I stumbled across one addressed to the mystery neighbor. With her name and the magic of the internets I was able to get her phone number.

I'm thinking about texting her to say hello. I know that's not normal but I'm asking anyway if it's normal. I'm very lonely right now of course.

    Don't contact her. If it were me, I would be so creeped out if I found out that someone got my number from online, even more so if I barely knew them. Why not get to know her in the traditional way? You don't know but, maybe, she's got agoraphobia or something like a night job.

    Maybe she's not very personable or something, it looks like you would've seen her out when driving past her house or something.

    My neighbor's kid hangs out with me. Today when I didn't answer the door she knocked 5 times!!

    Your lucky, everytime I come out. My next door neighbor keeps opening and closing the door. As if They're keeping tabs on me! God they are annoying. And I think there's like 10 people living in a One Bedroom! Anyway, don't be lonely. Come go Dubstepping with me! Yeah, and I don't do Facebook either.

    I lived in our new house for w year before I saw the neighbour on our left side, then I saw him leave and walk past our house, he looked like salad fingers, now beware the friendly stranger by boards of Canada plays whenever I see him
