The title pretty much says it all. She's my wife now of course and I've had gf's since I was 13, but when I met her that was pretty much end of story.
I wish people were still like this... It's so rare and sweet, keep it up :)
You've got that totally right Gfrigo. While all in all I'm happy that it went this way but it definately didn't come without certain disadvantages, especially all right during that period of college. My wife didn't go to the same college as me so I've never experienced going to a prom or something like that. Hell she wasn't even in the same country at 1st so I moved over to where she was @ 16. I didn't experience a lot of american rights of passage cause of that, like frat houses, spring break, and just crap like that. Sometimes when I think about it it bummes me out a little, but when I think more I'm actually kinda proud that I gave up such useless things for another person. I've had a really strange life but if I could do it again I'd do it the same.
I wish you and your husband the best of luck! Just remember if you really wanna stay together separation is never an option (recall "till death do us part"?). A lot of people nowadays treat marriage like something they can just back out of when they're angry. Get rid of that option in our heads and things all of a sudden become a lot simpler.
thats GREAT keep it up , my dad recently got divorced from my stepmum and married one of his childhood sweethearts im happy for him , but it always ends up being someone from the past

If you're happy with that, its WONDERFUL! :) It's not very often that you hear a success story. My husband and I have been together for 7 years. I'm hoping and praying that we will last. :D
