Is it normal that i use a polaroid camera instead of a newer one.

I love my Polaroid 600. I believe it was made during the 1940's in the UK. I like the flash. The noises it makes. And, most of all, the fact I can have ACTUAL pictures instead of it being inside a machine. But, I get bullied at school and called "hipster" and "noob". I mean, it's not bad to have an old camera. They say that I should be an old grandma. It really gets me upset. I've almost thrown away the camera a few times. Are they just finding thing to make me feel bad? I think they don't like me because I get the best grades in the whole school almost and I'm always doing things to help teachers. All the teachers say they adore me. I think they (my peers) are jealous. Having a Polaroid and taking it everywhere to take nice pictures. It's not weird, right?

    Unusual but hardly abnormal. It's a sad fact of life that in some circles being different to others will cause fuckwits to namecall and bully.

    And yeah, they probably are jealous: I suffered that all through school and when I was about 14 I got sick of being ostracised and joined in with the morons who mucked about in class and got low marks. Boy, am I sorry about that now; without realising I fucked up my whole education and that's had longlasting effects.

    Be yourself, do what you enjoy, learn to ignore idiots and this difficult time will pass and you'll have a good education under your belt as well as an unusual hobby.

      Bullying helps keep social order and makes sure the weirdos don't get too weird. Now we actually bully the bullies for bullying and being competitive is frowned upon because everyone gets a "participation" trophy, essentially rewarding ineptitude. I don't like weird people and I never will and if someone is a fucking weirdo I don't want to be around them.

      It's morons like you that agree with it and brought it on us.
